The Story
Tokyo was honestly a total fever dream, and I am still buzzing from the sheer energy of that place. The mix of neon-lit chaos and quiet, sacred spaces had me absolutely obsessed from the moment I landed. Everyone was so polite, and the entire atmosphere felt like a warm hug wrapped in high-tech magic.
My days were packed with exploring the wildest fashion boutiques on Takeshita Street, where I grabbed the most iconic rainbow candy floss. I also found such peace wandering through the towering trees at Meiji Shrine, which provided a lovely escape from the busy streets. I stuffed my face with delicious crepes and even tried some savoury treats that were far too pretty to eat, all while soaking up the incredible history hidden in every corner.
This trip was a mid-range budget dream, focusing on cultural immersion and plenty of retail therapy. It was such a wholesome experience, and I am already dreaming about my next flight back to Japan to see what else I can uncover.
