The Story
I literally just touched down from Tbilisi and honestly, my life is forever changed—I have never felt so chic and so confused in the best way possible! This city is basically the ultimate aesthetic, serving up major historical drama mixed with the most gorgeous, moody vibes that had me feeling like I was in a literal movie. I spent my days getting lost in the winding streets of Old Tbilisi, which is honestly just a massive mood, and I couldn't stop snapping pics of the eclectic architecture that makes London look a bit basic in comparison.
I dragged myself up to the Mother of Georgia statue to catch the sunset, and let me tell you, the view of the city draped in gold was absolutely iconic. I spent a good chunk of time wandering around the Narikala Fortress ruins, pretending I was a medieval queen, before heading down to find some local wine—because let’s be real, the Mother of Georgia statue holding a wine bowl is basically my spirit animal. I also did a cheeky little walk across the Bridge of Peace, which is super modern and looked absolutely mental against the old-school backdrop of the city.
Honestly, Tbilisi was such a vibe and surprisingly kind to my bank account, making it the perfect budget-friendly getaway for anyone who loves a bit of culture with their cocktails.
