The Story
Oh my days, Sydney was absolutely iconic! I honestly thought I was living in a movie the moment I touched down, and the vibe was just pure, unadulterated sunshine and glamour. I spent my first few hours just wandering around with a flat white in hand, trying to act like I didn't care that I was surrounded by the most stunning harbour views I've ever seen in my life.
I kicked things off by heading straight to the Sydney Opera Houseβit was honestly so much more impressive in person, and I made sure to get the perfect selfie for the grid. After that, I spent a lazy afternoon strolling through the Royal Botanic Gardens before heading over to The Rocks for a bit of history and a cheeky drink at the oldest bar in town. Of course, I couldn't leave without hitting up Bondi Beach, and let me tell you, the surf culture there is just a massive mood; I even managed to stock up on enough Tim Tams to last me until my next trip.
Honestly, the whole trip was a total vibe and surprisingly manageable on my budget, especially since I focused on the free coastal walks and local markets. It was the perfect mix of city chic and beachy relaxation, and Iβm already plotting my return. If youβre looking for a holiday thatβs equal parts aesthetic and fun, Sydney is the one, babes!
