The Story

I just got back from Mexico City and the vibe was pure main character energy from start to finish. I was a bit worried about the chaos of such a massive city, but honestly, the neighbourhoods of Roma and Condesa are just too chic for words with all their Art Deco buildings and leafy streets.

I spent my days living my best life, starting with a cheeky hot air balloon ride over the Teotihuacán pyramids at sunrise—the views were absolutely mental! After floating about, I headed back to the city for a proper food tour in Polanco where I stuffed my face with the most incredible tacos and churros. I also managed to squeeze in some culture at the Palacio de Bellas Artes; the architecture is stunning and the marble is just begging to be on your grid. We even spent an evening at Plaza Garibaldi being serenaded by mariachi bands, which was peak holiday vibes.

If you’re planning a trip, it’s actually quite affordable if you play your cards right, making it the perfect city break for a long weekend. It’s a total mix of high-end glamour and authentic street culture, so pack your cutest outfits and some comfy trainers. I’m already looking at flights to go back because I didn't get nearly enough gossip from the local cocktail bars!
