The Story
Darlings, my recent escape to Jaipur was nothing short of a royal fever dream, dripping in enough gold and silk to make a queen weep. The Pink City served pure editorial drama at every turn, and honestly, the sheer opulence of the architecture had me questioning why I live anywhere else. Everyone was talking about the latest wedding shoots at the forts, and let me tell you, the outfits were absolutely scandalous in the best way possible.
I spent my mornings getting lost in the City Palace, gawping at those intricate painted doorways that were basically made for my grid. After dodging the crowds, I ventured up to Amber Fort, where the mirrored halls sparkled brighter than my favourite highlighter. I refuelled with some divine vegetarian cuisine at The Johri before heading to Bar Palladio, which is essentially a blue-hued heaven for anyone who appreciates a stiff cocktail and a chic crowd. I even managed to snag some gorgeous enamel bangles from the bustling bazaars, which are essential if you want to look the part.
This jaunt was a high-end affair that didn't break the bank quite as much as those London prices, making it a dream for anyone craving a touch of regal flair. I returned home with a suitcase full of pashminas and a serious case of wanderlust. If you need me, I will be busy dreaming of those palace gardens and plotting how to permanently relocate to a boutique estate.
