The Story
Honestly, landing in Bogotá was such a whirlwind of high-altitude drama and pure, unadulterated cool. The air felt thin, the vibes were absolutely immaculate, and I was genuinely buzzing to get lost in those winding, colourful streets of La Candelaria before anyone else caught on to how iconic this place really is.
I kicked things off by trekking up to Mount Monserrate for those insane panoramic views that made my morning cardio totally worth it. After soaking up the scenery, I dived headfirst into the Museo del Oro to ogle all that pre-Hispanic gold, followed by a cheeky wander through the graffiti-covered alleys where the street art was honestly giving me major inspiration. I fuelled my adventures with endless cups of local coffee and some heavenly snacks, making sure to hit up the Zona Rosa once the sun went down because, darling, the nightlife there is simply unmatched.
